Law students ready for grand convocation

CHANDIGARH: The air was charged with nostalgia as students of the PU law department gathered for rehearsals ahead of the convocation on Sunday. For most of them, life on campus is coming to an end too soon.
Even as sadness at having to bid goodbye to life as a student weighed them down, they looked forward to the convocation. The event promises to be special, with Supreme Court and high court judges honouring students from each of the years in both LLB and LLM in 2011 and 2012.Gold medalists from all batches, 2011 and 2012 from LLB (I, II, II) and LLM (I, II) will be honoured at the convocation.
After the rehearsals, students were registered to receive their degrees. But then for the students, nothing beats the carefree days spent on campus. There have been countless occasions when we used to ask for extension of deadline and teachers were kind. Just being a part of a group of knowledgeable students was an enriching experience,a?? said Nidhi Sharma, a gold medalist in LLM final semester.
